  82. This is a 60-day trialware version of Picture Window 2.0. This
  83. means it will stop working 60 days after the first time you run
  84. the program. For information on ordering the full version
  85. (which also includes a full electronic manual, a monitor
  86. calibration overlay, sample images, and several bonus programs),

  90. Installation

  92. To install Picture Window 2.0, unzip the compressed archive file:
  93. PW20EVAL.ZIP into an empty temporary folder. Then run SETUP.EXE from
  94. that folder and follow the onscreen instructions. When installation
  95. is complete, you may delete the files in the temporary folder or
  96. save them for later re-installation.

  100. To uninstall Picture Window, double click the Add/Remove Programs
  101. icon in the Windows 95 Control Panel and select Picture Window 2.0.
  102. Then click the Add/Remove button to remove Picture Window from your
  103. computer.

  105. Electronic Manuals
  106.  
  107. Due to space limitations, this trialware release does not include a
  108. copy of the electronic manuals. A complete help file is included,
  109. however and additional descriptive material is available from our
  110. web site at http://www.dl-c.com.

  112. Getting Started
  113.  
  114. The first time you run Picture Window, it will issue a warning that no
  115. monitor calibration has been performed. To eliminate this message from
  116. future sessions without performing a monitor calibration, execute the
  117. File Calibrate command and click OK immediately; this will save a flat
  118. monitor calibration curve. Later, you can use the monitor calibration
  119. overlay supplied with the full version of Picture Window with the File
  120. Calibrate command to calibrate your monitor.

  122. You may also want to run through the File Preferences dialog and save
  123. your preferences for future sessions.

  187. in this package to the original purchaser ("you") in accordance with
  188. this Software License Agreement. You assume responsibility for the
  189. selection of the programs to achieve your intended results, and for
  190. the installation, use and results obtained from the programs.

  192. LICENSE

  194. You may: (a) Use the programs on a single machine; (b) Copy the
  195. programs into any machine-readable form for backup or modification
  196. purposes in support of your use of the programs on the single
  197. machine; and, (c) Transfer the programs and license to another party
  198. if the other party agrees to accept the terms and conditions of this
  199. Agreement as if he or she were the original purchaser. If you
  200. transfer the programs, you must at the same time either transfer all
  201. copies whether in printed or machine-readable form to the same party
  202. or destroy any copies not transferred.

  260. LOST PROFITS, LOST SAVINGS OR OTHER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
  261. DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE SUCH PROGRAM EVEN
  262. IF DLC OR ANY AUTHORIZED DLC PERSONAL COMPUTER DEALER HAS BEEN

  285. with RESTRICTED RIGHTS. Use, duplication or disclosure by the
  286. Government is subject to restrictions as set forth in the Commercial
  287. Computer Software-Restricted Rights clause at FAR 52.227-19 and in
  288. paragraph (c)(1)(ii) of The Rights in Technical Data and Computer
  289. Software clause at 48 C.F.R. Section 252.227-7013.
